The app asks for administrator permission on launch, that is what lets it touch services and system configuration. There is no portable build for now: without a signing certificate the packager stalls at that step. It comes back once the certificate exists.
Read before installing
Expected warningWindows will show a warning. That is expected.
When you open the installer, Windows SmartScreen will most likely say something like “Windows protected your PC”. We would rather tell you here than have you find out alone and think you downloaded malware.
Why it happens: the installer does not have a code signing certificate yet. Certificates are expensive and take time to build reputation — meanwhile SmartScreen warns about any executable it does not know. It is not a threat detection: it is an absence of history.
How to proceed: click More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather not, we fully respect that — it is the right instinct with any unknown executable.
How to check it is ours: download only from the official binaries repository linked from the button on this page. Any other source is not ours.

Free does not expire and never turns into a charge. It cleans, measures and diagnoses, including what only Pro fixes.
